Amica has racked up another national honor. The Lincoln-based company ranked number one in J.D. Power’s annual Property Claims Satisfaction Study for the fourth-straight year. The insurer scored 888 this year, 37 points higher than the industry average.
The study measured satisfaction with the property claims experience among insurance customers who filed a claim for damages covered under their homeowners’ policy. The ranking is based on five factors: settlement, first notice of loss, estimation process, service interaction, and repair process.
“Amica is honored to have received this distinction for the fourth consecutive year,” said Bob DiMuccio, the company’s chairman, president, and CEO. “Our 3,400 employees continue to make our customers their top priority, and this award is a testament to that.”
